Looks like they've opted to put the newest incarnation of Wonder Woman (Adrianne Palicki) in a pants. I'm guessing that's more practical for all the ninja action we're going to see in this modern adaptation. She's pretty... but I'm still not sure anyone can measure up to Lynda Carter. What do you think when comparing the two?

I dig the bodice (impracticality aside), but the pants/boots look too plasticky. Why didn't they go for the black trouser look they've employed in recent comics? It would be more realistic and less... I dunno... Power Rangers.

Sara-- I think the original retooling of WW didn't go over that well when they took away the full red, white and blue motif-- so I'm guessing that's why the blue pants. That said, a darker blue, at least, would look a lot better. I agree that it's way too plasticky.
The Lynda Carter one looks far better, and not just because it's the original.
I find it rather odd that with all the raunchiness on TV today, they gave Wonder Woman a more modest outfit.
The costume is really silly, who would fight in that, but yes I know have to be like that
Well the top half sure shows the boobs which I'm sure is the point. The bottom doesn't look like it breathes which must have been uncomfortable when filming especially at that fun time of the month.
It takes another woman to look at this costume and see how impractical it is. WW would never have designed this for herself. Fighting in a bustier is sketchy anyway, so you'd have to stick to something the hints at sexy but isn't this aggressive at pushing the girls up. The pants are just all wrong. Like Jessica said, they don't breath. You'd be a sweaty mess and that's not sexy.
They need to find somebody who is as pretty as Lynda Carter, not less...
The look is OK to me. It's all gonna depend on the chops and the plot though.
